Patient Philosophy

I believe patients hold the clues to their diagnosis if providers listen more and speak less. The patient also is a very important piece in determining whether success occurs in their treatment or not. A provider must partner with a patient to achieve better outcomes.

I enjoy swimming, outdoor activities, exploring and family time.

"I suffered brain surgery with a stroke following. I had gone through at least 5 neurologists, some highly recommended, in Seattle. They didn't want my case. My suffering from Central Pain Syndrome includes burning pain, on the entire right side of my body. Along with this, my stroke left me with bipolar disorder. I'm part of a support group online. A colleague in our group expressed her disappointment that her neurologist had moved to Silverdale! I was hopeful! My time with Dr Lee has added understanding and a focus on my ability to function. My hope is that he will remain, to my finish. I've had numerous caregivers. He is in my top 5! 💙😎"

"I am probably Dr. Eric Lee's last patient in Medford Oregon. Dr. Lee doesn't know it, but he saved my life. For decades after an incomplete Spinal Cord Injury, I was misdiagnosed with Carpal Tunnel, a rotator cuff tear, Ulnar Nerve Compression, underwent unnecessary & detrimental surgeries, & told my symptoms were "in my head" UNTIL I finally got referred to Dr. Lee. He actually LISTENED to me! I told him I know I don't have those things. Dr. Lee took the time to listen, did some tests himself, & wrote 14 pages on my nuerological state. What Dr. Lee wrote was pivitol in my Primary Care team looking "outside the box". I have a long road ahead, but thanks to Dr. Lee, I no longer feel as though I am on a train ride with no destination."
